​Bigraj and the Ascent Adventures team provided an amazing Annapurna Circuit experience. Everything from the food and accommodation to the insights into Nepalese culture and the mountains was of a exceptionally high standard. Safety checks were also thorough throughout. Whether facing the challenges of the mountain or relaxing in the tea houses, our porter Pisang and guide Bigraj were brilliant company and took incredible care of us. We really appreciate all their effort and attention to detail.

What an ADVENTURE! Bigraj and his porter Pasang were wonderful. I did the Annapurna Circuit over 10 days in May 2026, in a couple. Bigraj looked after our safety, comfort and fun well. He is very knowledgeable about the altitude sickness and safe trekking. He firstly spent time at our hotel in Kathmandu checking all our equipment and clothing specifically, then helped us buy all the things we were missing in town. Checking everything thoroughly. He walked us through the itinerary, and had flexibility depending on our fitness levels and altitude adjustments. We stayed in tea houses (hotels) with great views and fantastic food. The four of us (my bf and I, porter and guide) played cards and shared stories. I learnt much about Nepalese culture and the mountains we were traversing. We trusted Bigraj with his judgement and care once we got to the trickier parts of the mountain.
His itineraries are flexible, so you can customize what he advertises on his website. He was very communicative in the months leading up to the trip… responding within a few hours on fb or WhatsApp.

An amazing experience. This is the second time I have trekked with Bigraj of Ascent Adventures Nepal. After the experience on the Annapurna trail last year I had no hesitation in taking up the suggestion of a fellow trekker to try something a little different for 2026. Every aspect of the trip was well thought out and guided. I had plenty of information beforehand re kit, expectations of trip, timings etc. Once on the trail Bigraj , and his assistant Pasan could not have been more welcoming or helpful (although I already knew this from last year). Importantly at all stages of the trip I felt safe and secure (tired for sure), and when overtired I was heard by the team, and it was taken into account, giving me time to recover and get on safely with the trip.We all made it to base camp, and the two climbers, we made it to the summit of Island Peak. And very safely back down. We are already thinking of what to do in 2027.Thank you so much Bigraj, and Pasan. I am also open to answering questions directly should anybody wish..

For my 30th birthday I wanted to trek Everest Base Camp, Bigraj from Ascent Adventures Nepal ensured that my dream came true and made it an unforgettable experience (Including a 30th birthday cake during our trek!).

Bigraj was friendly and supportive, ensuring that we were looked after during the planning stages of the trek up until our flight back to the UK.

I’d highly recommend Bigraj to anyone wanting to explore the Everest region or trek in Nepal. He’s fun, attentive and genuinely cares. Bigraj’s knowledge in the mountains is second to none and he ensured a safe and successful summit for all in our group.

What a wonderful experience. Not only did Bigraj (Big by name but also by experience and knowledge) guide us through the mountains to Everest Base Camp and then to the summit of Island Peak (incidentally only 5 out of 10 of the people at Island Peak Base camp submitted - but 100% of Bigraj’s guests submitted) but he did it with great humour, extensive knowledge, great teaching techniques, a flexible agenda and a ‘nothing was too much hassle attitude.
I’ve been guided by many people and without doubt I would highly recommend Bigraj and Ascent Adventures Nepal.

I completed the EBC trek with my partner and two friends we met for the first time on the trek. From the moment our plane landed, Bigraj was there to welcome us to Nepal and look after us. Bigraj’s priority throughout the trek was our safety and enjoyment. He went above and beyond to celebrate my partners 30th birthday with a cake at 5000m and ensure we were fully looked after. Bigraj guided with professionalism and fun. Nepal is a beautiful country with such kind people and we’d highly recommend this trek to anyone wanting to visit the Everest region. Bigraj made us feel like family and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide or experience.

Our experience with Bigraj and Nepal Ascent Adventures was amazing. From the beginning the communication and planning was top notch. We had to make a few changes due to world events and Bigraj was so flexible and committed to give us a great trip. We did two treks, Pikey Peak in Everest region with Bigraj and Annapurna with Dhana. Both treks were really well organised and exciting, and we felt safe and entertained the whole time! There was always a mix of local culture and stunning views - Bigraj had even planned the weather for us. Thank you to the whole team!
