Before getting into the details - do not be afraid to travel to Nepal after the recent political unrest! We arrived 3 days after it kicked off, and couldn’t notice anything out of the ordinary!

With Bigraj as our guide, this trek was a genuinely unforgettable experience. Travelling as 21 year olds, we had our trek planned, accommodation and food all sorted with no hassle at all! It made all the difference, with lodges on the mountains all sorted (WiFi and food all brilliant) as well as some lovely hotels in Pokhara and Kathmandu.

Bigraj was also in contact beforehand over WhatsApp keeping us updated, and even met us at the airport making it a seamless and thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Bigraj also extended the duration of our trek to push us, adapting the route as we went. We did the Annapurna valley trek which I can’t recommend enough, but it was made more special with the guidance, company and humour of our guide! From cracking jokes, to letting us chill in silence when needed, and playing cards with us in the evenings, it was the perfect balance of company and support. Pasang also carried our bags (and even left us behind!) making the trek far more comfortable.

If you are thinking of doing this, no matter your ability or experience, Ascent Adventures is 100% the company to go through, with the best knowledge, company and organisation by far!

Absolutely amazing! We did the 14 day ABC trek and have made memories for life! From the day we landed we were met by Bigraj and taken to a beautiful hotel.

The bus over to Pokhara was crazy but cool, many stops on the way as well and after getting used to the mental roads it was very fun.

Our trek was an incredible experience. Well planned out and adjusted along the way to our levels (we walked a bit further and faster a few days as well were feeling strong). Some highlights along the way were the sunrise at poon hill, the hot springs and of course making it up to Annapurna base camp and seeing the stunning views.

Food along the way was lovely and we were greeted most mornings and evenings with a tea or hot chocolate. Coming back was similarly all thoroughly planned out and after being helped into a taxi to the airport we sadly said goodbye to Bigraj and Pasang.

An incredible experience and memories to last a lifetime. Would recommend Bigraj and his company a million times over, thank you!!

WOOOOW!!!!!!!! What an amazing experience!!! My Dad (Jeff) and I (Mic) just got home from our Everest Base Camp Trek guided by Bigraj at Ascent Adventures Nepal!! I would not do this trek with anyone other than Raj, he was the best. Not only does he take care of you before, during and after the whole experience he is super knowledgeable on the Everest Region and all the culture that comes with it! We were safely and successfully guided to our goal destination EVEREST BASE CAMP and wow the amazing views along the way and the amazing experience and knowledge from Raj made it 100x better so if you are looking to go on the EBC or trek through really anywhere in Nepal Bigraj is your GUY AND GUIDE!!!! Also I want to mention how well you are taken care of! Picked up right from the airport and greeted by Raj and made our way to the hotel in Kathmandu we were treated very very nicely and welcomed amazingly and during the trek it was the same everything was set up for us from room, meals, you name it Bigraj made sure we were well accommodated!!! I have travelled with Bigraj across two visits to Nepal, on very different objectives. He was absolutely brilliant on both occasions. His level of care for the people in his group is first class, and is always matched by his precise planning as well as his energy, positivity and infectious (and mischievous) laughter! :)

From the moment we arrived in Kathmandu Bigraj and his team went out of their way to ensure everything was taken care of.

The trekking route over 9 days was so well planned to help manage acclimatisation at high altitudes. Route was truly stunning taking in Tilicho Lake and Thorong La Pass.
etc.

Bigraj and Rashid took care of everything when stopping for lunch, check-in at hotels, dinner and breakfast. Every evening Bigraj provided a full briefing after dinner on the day ahead so we were fully briefed on what to expect and what we needed for our day packs etc.

Being so well looked after we could really focus on putting one foot in front of the other and taking in the views!!!

All of the transfers out and back to Kathmandu were well organised with lunch stops and regular stops to stretch the legs etc

What a fabulous trip. Bigraj and team were on it from the moment we arrived until our departure. Everything was incredibly well organised and structured.

The scenery on the trail, towering mountains, deep gorges, and obligatory wobbly bridges took one’s breath away: photos could simply not capture the majesty of it all.

I would love to return to Nepal in the future and as and when I do Bigraj will be getting the call.
